Dear all,
I'm trying to simulate flow over 9 surface mounted cubes at Re:4e5 One cube has 2 windows so it's definitely an unsteady problem My deltaT is 1-e4.What is the recommended yplus? But also it looks like it's always using RANS rather than LES for vortex shedding so looks averaged out. What am I doing wrong? Did you ever find out how to set up the kOmega SST SAS Case properly? If yes could you provide an example?

Hi,
in my SAS cases, one problem was often that the omega equation initial residual was so low that the omega equation was not iterated at all. Using minIter for omega in the fvSolution solved the problem and I got rid of the Rans-like behavior. Hope it helps, Cete |
