OpenFOAM restart from non-zero time step crahsh

Hey Dear Foamers,

I am running my OpenFOAM simulation on the cluster, since the cluster has only 24 hours time limit, I need to restart again very often.

But I met a problem is that whenever I restart from non-zero times step, there will be a Floating Point Exception Error. Sometimes I need to reconstruct the time step and decompose again or I change the timestep to time 0 and decompose again, or I change to running with only one core. These kinds of solutions work for only part of my cases, some cases are never able to restart.

Do you guys have any idea what is the problem here?

In my case there is combustion happening, and I am using a Pimple algorithm solver.

Thank you very much

Best regards

Litchy
