hi all,
am doing my master thesis on modeling of conductivity sensor and tracer injection manifold using CFD simulation, OpenFOAM. my case is not that much complicated , it is incompressible, laminar flow and steady state using water as a fluid and NaCl as a tracer, but the problem is I don't have that much experience in CFD Simulation . I did a simulation using simpleFoam two times, one when the tracer injected and one when the injection finished, to found pressure and velocity fields. Then using the Phi/ volumetric flow rate and velocity from the simpleFoam simulation, i did also a simulation using scalarTransportFoam in order to found the distribution of the tracer concentration around the sensor geometry. The next step will be doing the simulation using the concentration distribution in the sensor geometry file which is found from the scalarTransportFoam simulatuion in order to find the conductivity of the solution in the sensor, but i don't know how can i do this in 0penFOAM. if someone know about this please give me any useful idea, totally i don't have any clue/idea how to calculate conductivity of the solution in OpenFOAM. Thank You Abel Last edited by abelm; May 13, 2016 at 13:58. |
