Setting the pressure outlet based on massflowrate at birfucation artery

Hi foamers,

I have a task which ask me to simulate the flow in an artery bifurcation (one inlet-two outlets). Currently Im used icofoam to solve this problem. For pressure outlet1 I set as zero and I want to control the pressure outlet2 using this equation P2=P1+deltaP where my deltaP = k*Qin*(Qout1-Qmeasure)/(density*area1*area1). I hv used function object to calculate the Qin, Qout1 and Qout2. but the problem is I can`t call this function to solve my equations. I didn`t know how to set it. Here also I attached my U, p and controlDict file as references.

Hopefully somebody can help me and give an idea how can I solve this problems..

Nobody can help me? :(

Could you find out the solution for that. I am facing more or less the same problem. Not sure how to set the BCs.

In my case I know the inlet velocity, and I would like to outlet0 to have about 5% of the inlet flow rate and outlet1 to have 95%. It doesn't necessarily have to be exactly 5 to 95%, other solutions would also be welcomed. Basically, the flow resistance on outlet0 is much higher than on outlet1.

Scheme:
Code:

                  /=== --> outlet0: ~5% flow rate
                  //
inlet --> =======<<
                  \\
                  //
                /================ --> outlet1: ~95% flow rate

Thanks
Rudolf
