Hi,
I am trying to understand how is possible that cellMotionU (figure 1) can be related to this pointMotionU (figure 2) I though that point motion was calculated by interpolating the cell motion, but it does not seems so seeing the pictures. I am using velocity laplacian motion solver with uniform diffusivity. I was trying to figure out how it is done in the code, but I couldn't find it. In movePoints() I only find it: void Foam::velocityMotionSolver::movePoints(const pointField& p) { // No local data that needs adapting. } Any clue? Robert |

Hi, again,
Well, I have found out that it seems to be related with the fact that this patch is a cyclicAMI, and, on the other side, the mesh is moving faster. I though that the interpolation was done only with the cells in this side of the AMI patch, but, it doesn't seems so. If somebody has more knowledge than me on dynamic mesh and AMI relationship, I would be grateful With best regards Robert |
