Dear CFD experts,
I want to simulate a porous zone as black box with porousSimpleFoam and d and f resistance vectors for water flow (nu=1e-6) inside a tube. Geometry is based on following article: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science...94177714001526 Darcy region: U = 0.001 m/s K = 6.18 e -9 F = - d = 1/K = 1.618e8 f = 0 Darcy L of porous zone = 0.3 deltaP = mu / K * U L = 48 Pa p/rho = 0.048 My case on dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pkjvn4xoj...B6RksgpJa?dl=0 My case gives no resistance to flow in the porous region and pressure (e-6) is way too small. I don't use the parameters correctly? |
