Hello everyone,

when running the simulation, the velocity magnitude fluctuates quite significantly between the iterations/time steps - e.g. iteration x: v. magnitude=0.7; iteration x+1: v. magnitude=1.8; iteration x+2: v. magnitude=0.7 …
The inlet velocity BC uses a ramp with steadily rising velocity...shouldn't the velocity magnitudes of the time steps also rise in this manner, or is this fluctuating velocity magn. behaviour rather normal for water (surely turbulent from a certain inlet velocity) flow?

Setup=pisoFoam, komegaSST…

Regards,

PS: The solution seems to be to increase the # of non-orthogonal correctors in this case
