SimpleFoam - ramp up values to achieve convergence

Hello,

I have some concerns regarding the procedure when ramping up my values (initial flow velocity, omega for rotating geometry, ...) when having convergence troubles.

I want to follow the advice and start with low values and use the converged solution as my initial values for the next simulation.

I am using MRFSimpleFoam with RNGkEpsilon.

The values for k and epsilon depend on my Reynoldsnumber. (for Re = 180000 I get k = 0,164 and epsilon = 1,778). Will I have to adjust them for every simulation when I start with lower omega values for the rotation (resulting in lower flow speeds and lower Re)?

Greetings, Amelie
