Hi,

I am working on geomechanics coupled with reservoir simulation developed from solidDisplacementFoam, and I came across with a problem with different value of Young's Modulus (E) (see attached picture). Basically, the top and bottom layer has larger value of E than the middle layer (about 100 to 1000 times), and the domain is subjected to 6 tractions on all 6 faces. My question is if there is any special way to set up the simulation specifically for traction boundary or I just have to assign value of E differently on each node then run the simulation normally (I have tried this already and it did not seem to work).

Thank you
