Hi foamers,
I've got one question that, I've plan to add a new section to my new mesh. So how could I 'copy' or 'map' my old data to the new mesh? Thanks! Janry |

You can see from the attached figure:
mesh.png The top one is my old mesh, and I've rung it for a long time so I think I should keep the simulation data there. The right hand section of the bottom one is my new section added on the old mesh. The new mesh have same cell number and mesh size for the old section, compare with the old mesh. so how could I copy or map my old data to the new mesh? Thanks for any help! Janry |

Hi Kidess,
Thanks for your reply. Could you please give me some details about the usage of mapFields? I've reading the usage of that utility on the page: http://cfd.direct/openfoam/user-guide/mapfields/ But still not very clear... Thanks in advance, Janry |
