Large residuals for a LES using pimpleFoam
 

Hi everybody,

I am running a LES in a turbulent annular pipe flow using OpenFOAM. I refined the mesh and changed some parameters in the fvSolution file in order to reduce the initial residuals of p and U, since with the previous mesh the residuals were pretty large. The problem is that I still observe large residuals:
-) Initial residual for Ux (flow direction): 0.0067895
-) Initial residual for Uy: 0.0534113
-) Initial residual for Uz: 0.0542297
-) Initial residual for p: 0.11624

I am using PIMPLE as solver, as I am dealing with incompressible flow. I attach a .txt version of my fvSolution file.
