Hello,
I know that normal wall functions only apply for y+ values of 30 to around 300. I want to simulate a cooler and between the channels the flow of the water is really thin. So I can't mesh this region with a y+ value over or around 30. This part of my mesh has a value of around 7 to 18. I know i could use a LowRe model, however there is the problem that the ammount of cells would be probably be to hight (already at 1.3 million) I have read about the nutUSpaldingwallfunction, which should be suitable for a higher range of y+ values. Could I use this wall function for the y+ values (7-18) I have? Thanks in advance |
