Porous region in chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam

Hi,

is it possible to include a porous region in the chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam solver? I would like to simulate a channel where air flows through a block of metal foam and receives heat from a heated plate at one side of the porous zone. With the heat transfer coefficient, the fluid solid area density and the effective thermal conductivity of the porous zone being defined, such a calculation could be possible. But is it implemented in the solver?

Best regards,
Hugo

I'm too new to OpenFOAM to provide any sort of useful guidance, sorry.
However, I am very interested in reading the replies from more experienced users, or the progress you're making on this. Good luck!

Check the available fvOptions for that.
