Obtain BC value from dict

Hi Everyone,
I have a uniformFixedValue BC for velocity of which I want to get the value in my OF231 code. I want to use this to set the velocity field for the initial time. I know there's a lot of ways to do this (using funky SetFields etc) but I have my code coupled to a DEM solver, which passes particle positions to an OF cloud object and creates the volume fraction from there. Using this vol frac I want to adjust the IC for the fluid velocity before the time loop starts. Any thoughts on a smart way to do this? Thanks, Victor |
