Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply. I will do the splitting as you said and try to perform the simulation. Can you just explain a bit about why it shall be broken into inlet and outlet condition as I set my liquid in between the gap between two spheres from the beginning.

Hi Ruben,
As you said I have changed the boundary condition in the faces which are grooved by the spheres as inlet and outlet conditions and other faces of the block I kept as the wall. It ran well. Thanks. If possible, can you tell me what was going wrong with the previous boundary conditions?

I can run my simulation using Laminar(simple and pimple) but not with kOmegaSST

Hello everyone
I can run my simulation using Laminar(simpleFoam (steady) and pimpleFoam (transient)) but not with kOmegaSST, and when I want to run(simpleFoam (steady) or pimpleFoam (transient), code blows up due to courant number using pimpleFoam-kOmegaSST(as you see in the picture I have attached). This is a challenging question for me why I can simulate my problem using Laminar model but not with RANS(kOmegaSST) model. Is my mesh quality not good enough for RANS simulation?

Laminar-Steady ===> works
Laminar-Transient ===> works

RANS(kOmegaSST)-Steady ===> code blows up
RANS(kOmegaSST)-Transient ===> code blows up

Thanks,
Farzad
