Hello,

is it possible in Openfoam to use a combination of VOF and Euler-Euler method?
I know of the interface-sharpening capabilites of multiphaseeulerfoam but this is not what i need exactly, unfortunately.

I want to model two fluids, one being dispersed in the other. To account for different droplet sizes of my secondary phase, i create 5 extra Euler-Euler phases with each the same material properties (same density and viscosity) but different diameters. Now i can model the dispersion behaviour quiet nicely. The different classes should however recombine to one VOF phase in particular regions of my geometry.

Is this possible in openfoam? How can i tackle this problem?

Thanks!
