Hi all,

I am doing LPT with the very simple solidParticle class in OF-2.3.0. I have a question for post-processing the LPT data regarding calculating the particle (number/mass) flux across a specific user-defined plane or surface. In my case, the plane is in the computational domain and it's not a patch. The plane can be easily located by X=10. I also want to record the data (diameter, density, location) of the particles which contribute to the particle flux across the plane. But what is the best way to do this?

I do not know if this should be done by changing the source code of the solidParticle class or just looking for a post-processing utility or using paraview. If there is a method/utility/patchType for this when the plane is a patch, pls also let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Any ideas on this?
