Deepacfd New Member Deepa Vedartham Join Date: Sep 2016 Posts: 3 Rep Power: 9	Hi I want to solve the following problem in openFoam Consider the problem of solid rod having constant temperature at both the ends, a heat source and a heat sink. The source causes uniform generation of heat in the rod. The sink is in the form of heat loss to the environment from the curved surface of the rod by convective heat transport. It is 1D heat transfer. 1)How to solve 1 D problem in openfoam 2) which solver is suitable for the above problem 3) what are the modifications for the above problem Светлана likes this.
