Hello everyone,

I developed a testing case in 2D with an stationary domain and a moving one (with a constant angular velocity). I used OpenFOAM 4.1 with the cyclicAMI boundary and pimpleDyMFoam. It works very well with a laminar simulation.

Now I'm trying to import this case into foam-extend, so I made some modifications to use cyclicGGI and it almost works. I have two problems:
  • When I run moveDynamicMesh with a 0.1 s time step, it works. But if I use 0.001 s the mesh doesn't rotate. Why the moving of the mesh depends on the time step? In OpenFOAM 4.1, it doesn't happen.
  • When I run pimpleDyMFoam the simulation crashes couse a very high courant number. But I can't modify the timestep due to the previous problem.

The case is inside the dropbox link, if someone may check it. I will be so glad.

Best Regards!
