Hello, I am a new openFOam user and I'm trying to use this custom-made solver i found called meltFoam (attached to post) to model the melting of an ice-cream. My problem is that this solver was written on an old version of openFoam. I have openFoam 4.1 and this solver does not compile with my version. Could you please suggest the changes i need to make to the solver so that it compiles in openFoam4.1. Or if you can provide a link to a similar melting/solidification software that runs on openFoam4.1 that would be good too. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is less trivial than you perhaps think. The API gets broken all the time without the changes being summarized. There is a changelist for the latest two versionf of OF+ that might be of help to you, since they merge stuff from the foundation version as well.

You probably have to dig on your own and then ask more concrete questions here to get help.

Best,
