Creating boundaryData folder for timeVaryingMappedFixedValue boundary condition

Good afternoon,

I am trying to simulate boiling flow in a pipe in OpenFOAM v1612+ using the reactionTwoPhaseEulerFoam solver with chemistry and combustion switched off.

I would like to prescribe a full developed velocity profile as an inlet in my simulations. I simulated pipe flow and have a fully developed flow in the pipe. Now I want to use the velocity, k and epsilon at the outlet of the fully developed simulation as the inlet boundary condition in the next simulation.

The tutorial pitzDailyExpInlet does something similar using the timeVaryingMappedFixedValue boundary condition. I would like to do the same but do not know how to create the boundaryData folder (present in the constant folder). If anyone has successfully created the boundaryData folder, can you please help me.

Thank you.

Siddharth

A same problem!:(
Did you have any success?

I did not manage to get it to work.

I ended up extracting the velocity, k, epsilon and nut values at the exit using paraview and used them as input conditions for next set of simulations.

Let me know if you are successful in implementing the time varying mapped boundary condition.
