Hi
I am new to OpenFoam. I want to solve water droplets (injected from a specific location) behaving with continuous air medium. I want to treat air Eulerian frame and water in a Lagrangian frame. Water droplets, when hit to the wall, maybe rebound, penetrate etc. Could anyone suggest any solver? Which modification do I require to use that solver? Thank you mvee |

the solver you are looking is to be made by coupling interfoam with solid particle library.
and lucky for you, people have already done this the solver you are looking for is attached somewhere in this forum if you cant find it, drop me a message |

Would you please tell me the name of the solver?

it's not official openfoam solver.
it's been made by people themselves here's the link coupling of interfFoam with solidParticle library let me know if that works for you |

Hi,
I need to study air-vapor flow with condensation but I have questions about which solver I will use to study this case. Could anyone suggest a solver? I think to use a lagragian-eulerian solver. Thanks! Claudio |

Hello Claudio
Please let me know if you have found any solution. I am also interested in eulerian-lagrangian simulation of condensation. Regards |

Hello Cláudio
I am working on it. We already developed a Eulerian solver for condensation. But still needs time ![]() Bests |

Could you give me more information about the eulerian solver for condensation? I thought to use interfoam, insert temperature equation and to link with a lagrangian library of the openfoam own. |
