Hi,
I am new to OpenFOAM 2.3.0 and I m using waves2Foam utility. I am trying to make a program to harness wave energy by a floating body , but the results shown in paraFoam are very different. alpha file dimensions [0 0 0 0 0 0 0]; internalField uniform 0; boundaryField { inlet { type waveAlpha; refValue uniform 0; refGrad uniform 0; valueFraction uniform 1; value uniform 0; } bottom { type zeroGradient; } outlet { type zeroGradient; } atmosphere { type inletOutlet; inletValue uniform 0; value uniform 0; } frontBack { type zeroGradient; } floatingObject { type zeroGradient; } } point displ dimensions [1 -1 -2 0 0 0 0]; internalField uniform 0; boundaryField { inlet { type zeroGradient; } bottom { type zeroGradient; } outlet { type zeroGradient; } atmosphere { type totalPressure; U U; phi phi; rho none; psi none; gamma 1; p0 uniform 0; value uniform 0; } frontBack { type zeroGradient; } floatingObject { type zeroGradient; } } p-rgh dimensions [1 -1 -2 0 0 0 0]; internalField uniform 0; boundaryField { inlet { type zeroGradient; } bottom { type zeroGradient; } outlet { type zeroGradient; } atmosphere { type totalPressure; p0 uniform 0; } frontBack { type zeroGradient; } floatingObject { type zeroGradient; } } u file dimensions [0 1 -1 0 0 0 0]; internalField uniform ( 0.0 0.0 0.0); boundaryField { inlet { type waveVelocity; refValue uniform ( 0 1 0 ); //(0 0 0) refGradient uniform ( 0 0 0 ); valueFraction uniform 1; value uniform ( 0 0 0 ); } bottom { type fixedValue; value uniform ( 0 0 0 ); } outlet { type fixedValue; value uniform ( 0 0 0 ); } atmosphere { type pressureInletOutletVelocity; value uniform ( 0 0 0 ); } frontBack { type fixedValue; value uniform ( 0 0 0); } floatingObject { type movingWallVelocity; value uniform (0 0 0); } } blockMesh convertToMeters 1; vertices ( ( 0 0 0 ) ( 5 0 0 ) ( 5 1.5 0 ) ( 0 1.5 0 ) ( 0 0 1) ( 5 0 1) ( 5 1.5 1) ( 0 1.5 1) ); blocks ( hex (0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) ( 60 60 1 ) simpleGrading (1 1 1) ); edges ( ); patches ( patch inlet ( (0 4 7 3) ) wall bottom ( (4 0 1 5) ) wall outlet ( (1 2 6 5) ) patch atmosphere ( (2 3 7 6) ) empty frontBack ( (5 6 7 4) (0 3 2 1) ) wall floatingObject ( ) ); mergePatchPairs ( ); I need help urgently. |
