How to superimpose two velocity fields?

Hello
I would like to superimpose two fields from two simulations.
The simulations are as follows:
1) In first one I establish a turbulent wind to form the realistic atmospheric boundary layer over the ground surface
2) In the second one I have two tip vortices near the ground.

I need to superimpose the flow fields from these two simulations. How to do that in OF? I would really appreciate your help

what do you mean superimpose? If postproc, you can easily get it done in ParaFoam.

Assuming you meant interpolation of one field onto another grid, you can use the mapFields utility.

Hello victor,
do i understand correctly that you have simulation a) with a turbulent wind, simulation b) with two specific vortices and want to combine those in simulation c)?
In this case mapFields might not be the solution for you, as it overwrites the existing field. This works fine for e.g. copiyng your data onto a finer grid, but the field from sim b) would overwrite the data from sim a).
Maybe you could use setFields to define the vortices at their precise prositions, but i'm unsure how to the that.
