Hello,
First, I'm using OpenFOAM 5.0 (komegaSST), all my settings is attached below. Re = 5300 (R = 0,006035 - L=5D) Has anyone used meanVelocityForce (fvOptional) yet? I am conducting a study on internal pipe flow using simpleFoam solver. The velocity (there is a demo image inside the attached file) in the center of the pipe drops dramatically after 1000 iterations. Could anyone share experience? I believe this fall affects Reynolds's number and compromises the results of my simulation ... I would really like to keep constant velocity. And I would also like opinions about the convergence of my model, I believe that the process is very slow, since in the literature, a case similar to mine, occurred convergence in 1200 iterations. Thanks For (y + ~ 1) and according Tobi, I set my settings: Quote:
