order of solution

Hi Foamers,

when i tried to study mesh independence, i found the papers of Roache, where he defined p as order of the method, which may be obtained by using three grids with constant refinement ratio. I have four questions here:

1- is the term order of solution is different from the term order of accuracy?

2- what define order of solution:
a- is it method type FVM or FDM.
b- is the solution algorithm SIMPLE or PIMPLE.
c- is it the discritization schemes of div., grad., interpolation,..
d- is it the type of solver for p and u.

3- i tried one case with eight meshes with constant refinement ratio of 1.5

a- is it normal to get different p for every field.
b- is it normal to get different p for the same field when computed using different three grids from eight grid i have performed "in every time the three grids as successive" .

4- finally, is it possible for the GCI of Roache to increase for one field or more with mesh refinement.

thanks,
Ahmed
