Slyce94 is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

i am trying to run my case in parallel using Unbuntu 16.04 in a VM under Windows 10.
In the VM options i've allocated 6 processors to my vm (got a ryzen 5 1600x). If i check this with lscpu under ubuntu, it says that i am indeed using 6 cpus, so that works.

To run my case in parallel, i've decomposed it using decomposePar and it correctly creates the folders processor0 - processor5.
Now i try to run my simulation in parallel typing:

mpirun -np 6 pimpleFoam -parallel > log &

The simulation starts, but if i monitor my CPU usage using htop, it always shows only one CPU at 100% and also only one pimpleFoam process is listed.

What am i doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
