Apply Outlet massflow on inlet

Hello everyone,

I have two fluid regions seperated by a solid part. The fluids are connected with very thin channels. I want to avoid to creaty a mesh in these channels. I thought that it could be possible to define one part of the solid as outlet and on the other side as inlet to simulate the flow through the solid. Is it possible to read out the massflow on the outlet and set it up as an inlet-massflow for every timestep? I want to 'link' the regions if you know what i mean.

Thank you

If i understand you correctly your domain looks something like this: [Fluid]==[Fluid]. If so, the flow through the channels will modify your local flow pattern and simply copying the left side onto right sides inlet so that [Fluid][Fluid] will not recreate the results you are looking for.
Your problem sounds like you need to model your channels, but you may get away with using shorter channels.
