Hello,
I would like to simulate a stirrer in which two liquids (aqueous solutions) should be mixed and a free surface (air) exists. The mesh should be rotating. Now I am looking for a suitable solver. For this purpose, I have studied the standard solver from OpenFoam: The solver interDyMFoam allows the mixing of two miscible liquids with sliding mesh. The solver interMixingFoam offers the simulation of three components of which two are mixed (aqueous solutions) and one (air) is immiscible. I would like a combination of these two solvers. Does such a solver already exist (sliding mesh, two miscible liquids and a second non-miscible phase(air))? Or do I have to program the solver myself? I have no experience with that. Are there any recommendations? Many greetings, Helene |
