Hi i´m want to get the drag coefficient of a simple geometries. Then test various divSchemes to compare it.
I start with flat plate using kOmegaSST model of turbulence using this recommendations to the boundaries condition. And for the Flat Plate I obtain the desired approximately 1.9 drag coefficient with almost all the testes div schemes. The issue is when I use the same model, and same mesh size but with a square geometry as obstacle, the drag coefficient for this is lower than the reference value, the simulation result give me a Cd from 1.6 to 1.8 more less. And the reference has to be from 2.1 to 2.2. So I don't know wish is the issue here, I upload my here. |
