Hi,
About under-relaxation, I understand that field relaxation relaxes the fields explicitly while as equation relaxation boosts the diagonal of the fvMatrix system before solving it. Now my question is, I have seen people relaxing fields in transient simulations which is kind of absurd as that would affect the time accuracy of the results. Can anybody shed some light on these two different types of relaxations (field vs eqn) in detail and when is it safe to use any of these in context of transient simulations? |
