Hi, all. I am trying to use DPMFoam to solve a LES two-phase flow, with using the dynamicKEqn turbulence model. But it gives the error message that
Code:
Unknown LESModel type dynamicKEqn Valid LESModel types: 2 ( Smagorinsky kEqn ) Regards. Matthew |

Hi Matthew
Did you manage to solve the problem? I am also facing exactly same problem as yours. When I use any other LES model (except Smagorinsky and kEqn) with DPMFoam Solver, solver reports that no such model exist. However all LES models are available for single phase solver (e.g. pimpleFoam). I wonder if we can use other LES models with DPMFoam? Best Regards Atul |

Hi Matthew
As I am relatively new to this compilation and C++ programming, I am not sure about the exact procedure, how can I add the dynamicKEqn model in existing DPMFoam solver. can you please elaborate a bit? It would be a great help. Best Regards Atul Jaiswal |
