Hi there,

I'm actually trying to get sedFoam working, but issues there lead me to try the case out with interFoam first, which also wasn't working so shifted down to pisoFoam.... Now there is a working case with pisoFoam, I need to figure out why interFoam is unhappy with this case setup.

As far as I can tell, the two should be identical, except for gravity terms in the interFoam solver, but as only one phase is used, those terms should be zero?

The case files are to big to attach here, so here is a download link
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...dP?usp=sharing

Some pics are also attached.

I'm hoping this is just a stupid mistake in the set-up files, if anyone can help out that would be fantastic!

Cheers
Stephen

Regarding sedfoam, you can talk about it on cfd-online: sedFoam: two-phase flow sediment transport model

Hey, I got it working in sedFoam so never really went back to figure out what was happening here. I do have some questions about some of the sedFoam setup files (like the spongeLayer), do you mind if I send you a pm about it? Or would you prefer me to post questions into the sedFoam: two-phase flow sediment transport model link?

We always prefer a post into the sedFoam: two-phase flow sediment transport model link
