Hello Everyone,

I am trying to simulate planeWall2D case with chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam available in OpenFoam wiki. When I am trying to run the solver with Allrun command. It gives an error that chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam not found.

And I am using OpenFoam version 6 that doesn't have this solver. How can I manage to get this solver?

Thank you

Raza

Hi

You should use chtMultiRegionFoam in OpenFoam v6 for "steady" simulations.

"chtMultiRegionFoam

Solver for steady or transient fluid flow and solid heat conduction, with conjugate heat transfer between regions, buoyancy effects, turbulence, reactions and radiation modelling."

Btw, you can instead use ESI OpenFoam v1812
