Fvoption

Hello everyone,

I read about fvoption framework but not able to understand the basic functionality. I read that it is used to generate the source terms e.g heat source etc.

What is meant by source terms?

As I read we can also mention power as an input in it while using as a heat source. For example if my geometry has a heat source to heat up the fluid. But I just know the power dissipation of that heat source.

Can I use this power to put into the fvoption to generate heat as the output of this heat source? And that heat will be used to raise the temperature of the fluid.

Does it work like this or something else?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you
