Is alphas correct for more than three phase?

Hello

I'm solving two propellants mixing in air with multiphaseInterFoam.

As you know alpha values are set as 0, 1, 2 ... for each phase in multiphaseInterFoam and after calculation we can plot alphas the results in paraview.

The problem is that there are regions in which alpha = 1 even though only two phases(alpha=0, 2) are in contact.

Is there a solution for this problem?

I also have the same issue.......

At first, I had to write this thread in Paraview forum not Openfoam.

The result was shown better when I used ‘clip’ for ‘each phase’ and apply ‘Use log scale when mapping data to colors.

or threadhold would be good with 0.0~01 to 1 for the value.

Hey. I have a problem in understanding. How are they defined for the phases?

I defined three phases (waterdia1 waterdia2 air)

so will they be assigned 0, 1, and 2 respectively?
