Floating point exception / underflow problems.

Hello there,

I'm still having trouble with my cases. I'm simulating a Hydrofoil wing that's partly submerged in Water. I'm using LTSInterFoam.

I managed to get a converging simulation by making the boundary conditions at the outlet a little more restrictive. Next i tried changing the angle of attack of the hydrofoil to -1° and +1°.

However now all my simulations crash in less than 100 timesteps (out of a 2100 intended) always with the errorcode 136 which according to my "research" means its either and under/overflow or a floating point exception.

My guess is on the floating point exception.

However i don't know what i can do to avoid the floating point exception. CheckMesh usually gives me the all clear with less than 10 high non orthogonality faces. Given that my mesh contains between 20.000.000 and 60.000.000 cells i'm assuming that's not it.

My boundary conditions for the outlet are set like this:
alpha.water: fixedValue
nut: zeroGradient
omega: zeroGradient
p_rgh: fixedFluxPressure
U: fixedValue

Does anyone have any other ideas on what i could try? I'm using a university cluster so i can't really mess around with the openfoam installation to disable exceptiontrapping.

I'd be very grateful for any help. If there's any use for more detailed look at my files please let me know i just don't want to overcrowd the initial question.

Thanks in advance!
