Looking for a suitable solver
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a suitable solver for the following scenario: I have a supersonic outflow (the fluid is helium) of a nozzle into an air enviroment. I want to simulate and analyze if there are differences between a helium jet into an air enviroment and a helium jet into a helium enviroment. The second case would be much easier to simulate. For the case "helium into air" I am looking for a suitable solver. I dont know if a multhiphase solver is suitable, since both fluids are gases. The compressible multiphase solvers I know about are for immiscible fluids, which is also a problem. I have read, that rhoReactingFoam could be used, but only for subsonic flows. I am glad about any hints and help! Greetings, Friendly |
