Hi everyone,

does anybody know, what the RMS correction factor in turbulent inlet BC is needed for?
From source code I know:

// Correction-factor to compensate for the loss of RMS fluctuation
// due to the temporal correlation introduced by the alpha parameter.
scalar rmsCorr = sqrt(12*(2*alpha_ - sqr(alpha_)))/alpha_;

Can somebody please explain that to me?
Thanks in advance.
