Hi Community,

I have a multi-region (2 solids) case and I use chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam. The one solid region is a bed of spheres with contact surfaces between the spheres (This is why it is one region --> connected because of the contact surfaces).

I want to add at those contact surfaces a thermal resistance (because of roughness).
I already extracted the faceZone of those surfaces. I was searching for an appropriate fvOptions entry, but I did not find such an option for this case.

I think the most similar option is "variableHeatTransfer", but I can't use this. It is only valid for 2 different regions.

Another way is to define every sphere as one region but that will increase my computing time extremely because there are many spheres in the geometry.

I hope someone knows a good solution.
Thanks in advance.
