Dimension in the p-file
Can anyone tell me why in the p(ressure)-files which can be found in the tutorial folders "0", the dimension has the form
[0 2 -2 0 0 0 0] (=m^2/s^2) ? Actually i suggested the form [1 -1 -2 0 0 0 0] (=(kg/(m*s^2)) for Pa... |
Pressure units depend on whether the solver is compressible (and the units are "real" pressure units) or incompressible (and the units are for "kinematic pressure, i.e. pressure/density). There are many threads on this topic -- see e.g. https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...e-solvers.html or https://www.openfoam.com/documentati...-pressure.html.
