Hi Everyone

So I'm trying to run a 1D Sod Shock simulation with dsmcFoam and I can't seem to properly resolve shocks. Is dsmcFoam capable of doing this?

I've attached my pressure profile and the standard sod shock case from rhoCentralFoam. I know the magnitudes are quite different but I'm not sure if that matters.

If anyone can offer insight I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Hi Anthony! Did you eventually solve the sod tube problem with dsmcfoam?
I'm trying to do the same and having some trouble.
If you could help me, I would appreciate it!
Thank you!
