Hello everybody,
currently I am working on a simulation with a moving block. After this block follows another not moving block. Both blocks are connected by the cyclicPeriodicAMI patch. Now I noticed that rhoPimpleDyMFoam needs 10 times more time to calculate a time step than rhoPimpleFoam. Does anyone have any experience with this and could give me some tips? I also noticed that most of the time is needed to "map" the patches and that additional processors do not increase performance. Best regards MNoCeZ |
