Constant Prandtl Number with Sutherland Transport

Hi,

Is it possible to set a constant Prandtl number alongside the Sutherland transport model? From my results so far it appears Pr=1 (approx) but I want Pr = 0.71 throughout the flow, how do I do this? I am using the rhoCentralFoam and my test case is supersonic flow over a flat plate.

Thanks in advance

Most probably not.

When you select Sutherland for the transport model, you specify how OpenFOAM calculates the dynamic viscosity and the thermal conductivity.
This leaves you with no remaining independent quantities. Hence, the Prandtl number is already fixed.

Hello Gerhard,

you mean to say that we don't need to give prandtl number if we give viscosity as Sutherland?

Ya...I got the answer. We don't have to mentioned it.

Thanks
