Solver for evaporation

Hello everyone,

I like to simulate a drying process. In this case I want to evaporate water trough hot air.

I´m searching for a suitable solver.

In this paper: http://www.mathcces.rwth-aachen.de/_..._moltrecht.pdf they use a modified version of the interMixingFoam solver.

My questions are: How difficult would it be to implement the missing equations for example the energy equation to the solver ?

And do you know other suitable solvers for this case ?

I am new to OpenFoam and I would appreciate some help. :)

You can check sprayFoam

Also you can check multiphaseEulerFoam. At openFoam8 you will find bubbleColumnEvaporating tutorial, which could help you!

There is a evaporating model (interfaceCompositionPhaseChangeMultiphaseSystem).
