Hello,
Are there any additive manufacturing solvers available as a "starter" solver to build off of. More specifically, I am wondering if there is any solver code out there for Laser Fusion (i.e. laser powder bed fusion, laser welding, selective laser melting). Thanks! |

icoreactingmultiphaseinterfoam was released in 1806. That can do what you're looking for.
If you want to include more complicated physic such as the volumetric change due to vapourisation you will have to do some coding. This, or interfoam with the addition of a Darcy source term in the momentum equation are a good place to start |
