Hi Foamers,
I am trying to run a simulation with turbulentDFSEMInlet boundary condition.
In the channel395DFSEM tutorial case,

constant/boundaryData/inlet/0/L
constant/boundaryData/inlet/0/R
constant/boundaryData/inlet/0/U

files are already available, which I see that are necessary for turbulentDFSEMInlet patch type. I am trying to find a way to obtain these files for my simulation.

This reference says:

The new surface format boundaryData, see $FOAM_SRC/sampling/sampledSurface/writers/boundaryData can be used to easily generate these files from previous simulations. If mapping data is unavailable, estimated field values can be specified directly, or generated e.g. by performing a boundaryFoam calculation to generate a fully developed 2-D inflow profile.

So I am trying to run boundaryFoam for the of my domain. Are there any sample cases for such simulations? Or does anybody have experience with "using a previous simulation" to generate these files?

Thanks in advance.

I'm in the same boat.
Have a look at $FOAM_TUTORIALS/incompressible/boundaryFoam
You will have the profiles in the postProcessing/graphs/{times} directories:
epsilon.xy gammaDot.xy k.xy Rff.xy Rfw.xy Rww.xy Uf.xy uv.xy u.xy v.xy w.x
