twoPhaseEulerFoam energy equation

Hello Team, I'm looking to compare twoPhaseEulerFoam (2PEF) and CFDEM setup via simulating minimum fluidization velocity. In CFDEM setup, I'm not using any energy equation and flow is incompressible.

In 2PEF, I come to know that 2PEF always solves energy equation.

1. Can we turn off energy equation in this solver?

I have used 288K for all temperature fields initialization, BCs for both gas and particles but there is an energy transfer and temperature varies from 250 K to 320 K.

Thank you,
Jagan Mohan.

1. we can't turn off the energy equation. it will be solved in every pimple loop.
you can take a look at the source code for that.

2. if you don't have any energy source and have same temperature value in your domain, it is really strange that temperature changes.
you should definitely check your settings again. if you want you can also share your case for us to check it.
