Hi!

I decided to modeling a RAS free surface (multiphase) riverflow, with another smaller inflow with different temperature. I have experience with multiphase flow modeling, but I'm a beginner at heat transport.

As a result, I would like to see how this two waterflow with different temperature mix (distance of full mixing). I'm not interested in phase change (evaporation) or in physical processes in the air phase, but I want to see the free surface, too.

I did not find a suitable tutorial for this. Can you give me suggestions? Which would be the best solver? Which boundary conditions should I use? Schemes? A similar multiphase flow case with heat-transfer would be perfect to use as a basis of my simulations.

Thank you in advance!

Griva
