pUCoupledFoam time consumption

Dear foamer
the pUCoupledFoam use block matrix to solve p and u in fluid simulation. As the publication shows, the iteration is lower that segregated solver. But in cpu time, the time estimated is some time more than piso solvers. do you have same issue?

I have not run the test myself.

I do imagine however that the linear solvers that OpenFoam provides by default are not the most suitable ones. Work on providing better solvers is work in progress.

OpenFoam now provides an interface to the external solver library PETSc [1]. This provides room to develop more advanced linear solvers for the coupled systems. Usual suspects include algebraic multigrid with Vanka smoothers and Schur complement preconditioners. The development of these more advanced solvers will require substantial work.
